Hostal del Ángel
The house, horizontal property of eclectic style with roofs of more than 5 meters high is part of a building of three plants built in 1914. It is located in the "Plazuela del Angel", place that inspired the famous Cuban writer Cirilo Villaverde to develop his novel "Cecilia Valdés", considered for some specialists as the first Cuban authentic novel.
On the right, at 50 meters, we find the well-known Museum of the Revolution (former Presidential Palace) and at 100 meters the Museum of Fine arts of Cuban Art (Museo de Bellas Artes). From the balconies of the "Hostal del Ángel" you can appreciate a panoramic view of the Old Havana (Habana Vieja), the Fortress of "El Morro Cabaña", the Capitol and the monumental Cristo de la Habana, of the Capitol and of the monumental Christ of Havana (Cristo de la Habana). At being adjacent with the Avenue of the Missions, and near of the Paseo del Prado Street, the visitor can walk along these streets and head for either the well-known Malecón de La Habana (Havana Seafront).
